Sean Miller & Matt Coleridge
Sean Miller

www.djseanmiller.com
It became evident when Sean Miller started playing drums at the young age of six that he was destined to explore the art of music. Then in 1996, his interests took a shift into the modern world of electronic sound. The now legendary artist, Sasha, was the first to ignite this spark in him. Since that time, Sean's taste in music genres has varied and diversified.
Sean's first official mix, Diamond, was released in 1998 and was awarded tape of the year in Canada's most reputable underground magazine 'Tribe'. The success of this first mix motivated Sean to release yet another, which was honored tape of the month, giving Sean the credibility he needed to be placed amongst Toronto's top DJ's. Sean's popularity in the city landed him solid guest appearances and residencies for some of Canada's highest profile Dance Production companies; including, Life-Force Industries, Syrous, Dose, Destiny, Liquid Adrenaline, ZRF, Benson and Hedges and Most Wanted Entertainment.
Sean's flawless mixing and programming skills were once again confirmed when he was asked to open up for Deep Dish in November 2002 and Sasha in May 2003 for the infamous 'Big DJ Small Club' event, produced by Benson and Hedges. It is performances such as these that have fired Sean's career to new heights. Yet, Sean's drive does not stop there since he was determined to re-establish himself in the up-and-coming club scene. His most recent ventures include his Saturday Night Residency at Boa (Toronto's hottest after hours nightclub), a remix for Nelly Furtado's new single "Powerless" for DreamWorks, and being signed to the acclaimed Stereo Productions in Spain.
Dexterity, fused with an innate talent, has taken Sean and his music worldwide. Across Canada and into the United States, Mexico and Europe, Sean's sound is continuously evolving yet maintaining intelligent elements he call's his own. When asked how to interpret his creative sound, Sean describes it as "sexy and intelligent house music". These days, it is rare to find Sean spending anytime away from his home Studio. He is constantly thriving to propel his music in new directions. With a progressive mind and a passion to succeed he is bound to excel in the industry he is destined for.
Matt Coleridge

In a period of about five years Matt Coleridge has quietly risen through the ranks to become one of Toronto's most respected DJs and a recognized name across North America. Matt's focus has always been music first and it's that dedication that's earned him his strong loyal following. Musically Matt's sound is wide-ranging, a blend of all styles, a sound he's dubbed "Future House". From minimal tech to crunchy breakbeat to driving house, it's a cutting-edge sound that focuses on the hypnotic side of electronic. Music that is always pushing boundaries and always promises a glimpse of things to come.
After a debut guest set at the fledgling Breathe Fridays in December of 2000, Matt was invited on as a resident of the weekly System Soundbar night. From there Matt went on to play an important role in the night's evolution into one of the biggest weekly club nights in Toronto and one of the more prolific nights in North America. Breathe saw him on a weekly basis play alongside major international DJ talent as well as rock the crowd with his own 6+ hour resident night sets. Matt also runs his own party series called Solution that has had Kenny Glasgow, Max Graham and Luke Fair among others as residents over the years. Solution has also branched into a bi-weekly radio show on the revered Proton Radio (first and third Tuesday of the month, at 12pm EST, on www.protonradio.com). Matt has played some of the best venues in Toronto as well as around the country, including a recent debut at the legendary Stereo in Montreal. He has opened for a long list of major international talent, names such as Tiesto, Steve Lawler and Danny Howells to name a few. Matt has also moved further into the business side of the industry, he is now working for Release Records. Plans are afoot for Solution Records, Matt's record label to launch later this year. As well his attention has turned to the studio where he's receiving praise for his early work.
The end of 2004 finds a major new chapter in Matt's DJ career unfolding. After celebrating the 4th Anniversary of Breathe in May, Matt decided to leave the night for a his new home at the incredible Boa-Redux afterhours (www.boa-redux.com). Boa has in just over a year risen become one of the most respected clubs in North America. Boa is home to one of the best sound systems and acoustic designed rooms in the world.

Hey exraver - maybe you did too many drugs in your 'rave' days.
Kenny DID spin that night, infact he spun until 4am. Nevio then closed the night out. Cover was also reduced to $20 to accomodate for Junior cancelling. You are the first person to express Boa as a 'ing rip-off', and we'd love for you in the future to attend clubs that you feel offer you value..
Thanks for comin out.
p.s. |
