From my understanding venues within the CBD cannot run all age events with licensed areas...this law was passed quite a while ago but policing it has taken some time (correct me if im wrong)...the same issue came to light at the underage 'Time' at Metro; liquor licensing commission wants to stop under age events taking place in licensed venues and id just assume the same principle would apply to an event like tt...dunno if they are still pursuing this but last i heard all underage/all age events within the cbd have stopped. This doesnt apply to events like BDO and events held at Altona sporting complex as that is not within the CBD jurisdiction.
Be it 2 or 3 months mate your by law not legally allowed to enter the venue or event. Public liability is there to cover patrons against unfortunate scenarios from a promoters/venues point of view, but remember dealing with (what people consider as adults; ie 18 and over) legally deemed young adults, authorities like Police and even first aiders and medical staff prefer (and in most cases insist where possible) to only operate in an 18+ environment. On the flip side, should anything happen to an underage patron in an overage event, the media barrage that would follow *taking TT for example* could ruin any promoters image, so most promoters these days are choosing to run over age anyway.
Just be patient mate...sure it sucks but these events aren't going anywhere and im sure there will be shows like this and much much more when your ready to hit em... |

but seriously, whats the big deal with you guys n underages... im entitled to go to see what i want if im able to, eg adelaide being 15+ event... what the s the difference between someone 17 n a half n 18.... not much.. i go to these events to enjoy the music... djing n the music is the one thing on my mind every day ( other than school )...
I dont go to these htings to make myself look liek im tough or all grown up.... if people aren't in your way and disturbing you... let them go, no need to act all ( im over 18, legal as can be... look at me look at me )..
Is it my fault you get the odd underage headd who htinks their wild n ODs...
like htese events are for people to go and enjoy as a whole... not for others to criticise...
Might stay outta the " 18+ event talk " as some of you people might have to prove how big and mighty you are once again... |

You go from something that appears to be a bit of wisdom and experience back to behavin like a little head again, we are not havin a crack at you or your underage mates cause of there age nor are we provin how big and mighty we are, its like havin a little brother follow you everywhere tryin to be like you acting like a kid ruining your night cause you cant stop lookin at what a moron he's bein.
