Diablo 3... in 2006?

I'll buy a copy if it actually comes out in 2006.
Hell, I'll buy everyone here a copy.
And I would've preferred Starcraft 2, personally :( |

| i wonder if its going to be all new everything, and leave everybody who plays d2 behind and start new realms for the game....it would be cool to make it like the expansion so everyone can still play together (d2+d3), but it'll conflict seeing as how the new class of chrs will probably have all new types of damage and resistance such as physical |

They would never consider connecting two games like that. D3 won't be an expansion therefore it'll never accomodate the D2 players. Personally, I'm looking forward to much better graphics, new character classes (with new skills), harder to level gameplay, and overall enjoyability. That and they have to make it nearly impossible to hack. |

| D3 will get hackers within the first week of running, unless they get a huge crew together and end up charging for online play, which I doubt they'll do. Oh well, don't think I'll be getting this unless something there is something strikingly new about it. |

they'll probably turn diablo into a FPS and ruin the series.
I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard was making games under wrap. Remember when Valve announced HL2 a couple years back and no one knew about it, even though it was in development since 1998. |
