U dont need to really explain anything. As you said and as we all witnessed what went down that night there was nothing you could do,It was a plan and it was executed well and i dont need to even get into the details. This is not about a promoter not being fit to deliever, Or the fact that he did a few things wrong...and not by the book!!! This situation could happen at any venue and to any company and promoter,So i dunno what is there to explain..specially when it might complicate things more. We all know how much passion you have for the industry and the fans and trance music.I rememebr talking to you till 4.30 a.m that very same night and remember how concerned you where about what happened, And everyone that was there..including me. Danny it was not your fault and we all know that . Keep your head high and have faith in what you do because thats is all that matters.

God Bless u all

ill be honest, I did clean up this thread for him, with the expectation (based on a PM from him to me) that he would make a statement the following day.

3 days later, and needless to say im a tad miffed that I cleaned up for him. I dot play favorites, and when things turned ugly on other promoters (ie any twisted bashing, or after that disaster @ halloween) I dont step in. I did here, and right now im regretting it.

difference is tho, the other promoters dont even care to come here and take the effort to explain themselves and the events. not only that, but many times unfortunate things happen because of the promoters. in this case, this was beyong the organizer. it was the venue's and security's fault, so to speak for failing to prevent the unfortunate incident that made things go from not so great to really bad.

i dont know what was posted after me following the event, but if someone was blaming danny for what happened, they probably need a good reality check. danny is one of the very few people left in this city who still care about the music and the scene and if something unfortunate does happen at his parties, it is far from being his fault, in fact, he is probably the most upset about it. i'm not trying to defend danny because he's a friend. this is how the scene actually is, and it just got another major kick in the ass
