LUKE TERRY - Luke's life was completely altered in 1997,
when he bought a copy of Chicane's seminal classic "Offshore".
Luke saw that music could be complex and deep,
rather than the usual "run of the mill" pop music he had listened to before.
This was the beginning of Luke's love affair of trance
and it continues to this day with no sign of dying.
In 2001, he invested in his first set of decks,
and began to amass the vast collection of vinyl he owns today.
The progression from bedroom deejay to bedroom producer seemed a natural one,
and influenced by the likes of Ferry Corsten and Signum,
Luke's production career was born!
As time rolled forward Luke won the Amateur DJ Competition
at tranceaddict.com 3 times in the space of a year,
and a residency at massive trance internet radio station TranceAirWaves soon followed.
In 2004 Luke joined Dave Magee as resident at Vuzz
where he now regularly plays alongside DJ's like Richard Tulip,
Ben Lost, and Les Hemstock.
On the production side of things Luke's remix of Matti Laamenen's Obesession,
released on Tsunami, has gained support from Ferry Corsten,
Paul van Dyk and a host of other big name deejays.
He is currently remixing for Aled Mann and Matti Kotala,
and has more tracks due to be released on Tsunami, Equilibrium,
and Spectrum records in the very near future.
