Hello Kim, do you come up here much? Have you partied in Seattle before? Because recently I was at a rave in Seattle and it was in this huge warehouse. Are all raves in warehouses down there? I was reading a bunch of their flyers from there and they mention 'new warehouse location'. It really gave it the old school feel.
But the trippiest thing was, the record shop inside the rave. Now thats innovative.:D |

yes, i have definitely partied in seattle before, heh..
this is my third year in the scene... and its always been in the seattle area. seattle is only about an hour south of bellingham, so i head down there a lot. i haven't had much time at all this quarter because all of the cs classes i am taking... but in general, i dont like going to parties much down here.
there arent a great deal of venues, and the only one thats really consistent is naf (like being at the plaza, but a really ty venue and prolly slightly less people). in general the regulars there are either 15 year old ed up kids, thugs, or new people to the scene who havent discovered anything else yet. as far as this "new warehouse" goes, im guessing you are talking about freak night, which i had no desire to go to. i dont know the scoop with it, but im betting from now on its gonna be all massives there anyways, which im not really down with.
in general i stick with smaller things now. theres a small all jungle party coming up that ill probably go to, but nothing else has caught my interest. oh, and i saw pvd the other week. havent really been to any other parties of note tho in awhile..
as far as coming up to bc, i try when i can... due to border problems and needing a passport/birth certificate now to cross, i have to wait till i can visit the parents house to get it before i can visit again. i prefer your club scene over ours anyday so i come up sometimes.. saw tiesto, bt, lots of people up there at the commodore/palladium. ive also been to the plaza and the pne colliseum and hated it.. but i tend to not like big parties in general.
im hoping after this quarter i have time to visit more.. i love vancouver! i miss coming up to the lotus and other places.. maybe ill even meet some of you guys sometime :) ok ive rambled enough for now.. |
