It's one of the friendliest dance spots I've yet seen in Vancouver. I've only been two times, but I was quite impressed both times. I'm hugely into psy, but mostly I listen to old skool Goa from the mid to latter 90's.
Both times the crowd struck me as very organic and friendly. I had the feeling that I could have walked up to anyone and said hello, and I'm generally pretty shy.
As far as people being tripped out, if you've ever attended a massive, an electronic music event or an afterhours in Vancouver then you've seen people more messed up than I even came close to seeing at Organix.
But seriously people.....I never gave psytrance a second thought for a loooong time. If you start exploring the genre you will find out what trance music is really all about. Immerse yourself in the genre and then when you try to go back to mainstream trance, it just won't ever be the same. |
