- Serena's forehand looks atrocious. A kid with Down syndrome can do a more graceful forehand.
- Peer put up a good fight, but she made a lot of unnecessary mistakes.
- I hope Vaidisova hands Serena her oversized ass on a platter.
That is all.
P.S. Serena. |
You pretty much summed up all my thoughts, so I am not going to say anything more because i am too upset to talk about it.
Her ass is almost as big as her ego.   |

I agree -- not a Serena Williams fan... but I had to admire her come back in that set, with the way she was playing, I initially thought she was down and out FOR SURE.
Great determination. I'm loath to say, but I was impressed with Serena.
I hope Vaidisova knocks her out though. Dont really believe she will at this point, that it's gonna take either Kim or Martina (very very likely Kim though!), but I do hope Vaidisova pulls through. Shes my favourite of hte new young players on the women's side of things.
The all-American Andy Roddick vs. Marty Fish match last night was incredible. I was watching Roddick play and almost thought I was watching Federer. HOLY was his game immaculate. I've never seen a better, more composed, spot-on game of him in recent history. is Connors ever doing a good job! RODDICK ONLY HAD ING FOUR (4) UNFORCED ERRORS the entire set! THAT IS PHENOMINAL! I cant believe that stat myself!!!
Roddicks game has been nothing but sloppy IMO for hte last year and a 1/2 to two years. But he showed such incredible improvement last night.
He rocked his friend Fish. The man never really got into the game, save for some excellent winners off his serve.
Ive got a lot of new found respect for Roddick again.
And though I didnt see Nadal's match against Andy Murray, I hear Nadal just barely squeaked through? That Murray gave him a lot of trouble. Impressive. Bodes well for Federer dominating him still :D
Fed's game's been grace full all tournament. He'll run through.
I cant wait to see the semi finals match with him vs. Roddick! |

I think her ego's been very much in check this tournament though. I'm her biggest hater, and I must say her off-court behaviour has impressed me so far this year.
She seems only extremely elated to be winning as she is (as she should be). I havent seen any of her usually arrogance that usually so reviles me. |

The best surprises of the top seeds to win this tournament would be:
1) Andy Roddick on the men's singles side, and
2) Martina Hingis on the women's singles side.
Though are the two I'd really love at this point see win this 2007 Australian Open. I think it would be incredible.
(Though, yes, of course, I really don't feel either one is going to take this title... But that's who I'm routing for regardless! ) |
