Is it just me, or am I noticing alot more marketing of video games on TV these days.
Halo, GTA, Getaway:black monday, mercenaries, I see the commericals everytime I turn the TV on.
is the marketing getting more aggressive and widespread? |

Much more older people, famous people, girls are starting to game.
It used to be seen as a hobby for little boys, but i think of games just the same way as a movie or a book, only interactive. I always wanna have a good story to follow.
anyway, gaming is getting popular these days. Im also noticing a increase in gamestores and the size and location ( prime locations in cities, hella expansive ground, about 10,000 a square meter a year ) |

Gaming has crossed over into the mainstream, mainly due to Sony's Playstation 1.
Annually, the gaming industry brings in more cash than the movie biz. |

| The game creaters are trying to appeal to a larger audience than earlier times. |

Gaming is a way of life.
today the gaming scene is like a job... you can be very rich if your the best in the world for example: the clan "SK" in cs, they earn lots of euros every tournament. |
