I thought I'd post this up in the gaming forum instead of COR for once...
I'm thinking of picking up a 6800GT, but I won't if the next generation of cards are near. When were these cards originally released? When is the 7x generation (assuming that's the naming scheme) due out? |

nVidia doesn't plan on releasing any new GPU's till the end of the year. Then you have to take into account any delays, availablity, etc.
Go with the 6800GT. |

Where's the best deal out there atm for Canadian retailers?
Best one I found is 600CAD flat for an eVGA 6800GT and an NV5 Silencer. (this is including taxes, shipping, and insurance, blablabla). |

And if I may say so; BFG and Leadtek are the best Geforce manufacturers at the moment. BFG is the best. Their cards are overclocked out of the box, and come with a life-time warranty. I wish their cards were available in PCI-E :( |
