hey i saw no one commented and the same thing happens when i post, so here you go: i like this remix! imo you took some of the upfront cheesyness off of the original by introducing the lead synth a little more subtly than in the original.
a few things i thought could use improvement:
1 - it almost sounds like you have a light distortion as an effect on your master channel. everything sounds a bit fuzzy especially after the breakdown. if you aren't using excessive distortion, fire up the DB meter on your master and make sure your not clipping the signal by having it too loud. if this is the case turn your channels down or try a bit of compression
2 - after the breakdown and the lead melody kicks in i think it needs a little more umph, maybe double the synth or add another intstrument to double the melody.
