I kno its a little different, but for my 16th 18 months ago we did a pretty big thing...
Being the "wog way" my olds wanted the family there aswell... so hwat we did was hire a hall... have dinner and that with bout 20 family members n 2-3 of my closest mates then bout 9ish my other friends came as the oldies left... it was good how we planned it, but supllying drinks was a mistake as the whole party cost us nearly $2500 and the thing is i didnt remember any of it....
now i htink of it id rather get the money, and just go out with 4-5 of my best mates n have a family hting at home with family... thats what im planning to do on my 18th/21st

nope, didn't have a big party. just went out to dinner with a few mates. nice and easy, the house didn't get trashed and somebody else did the cooking and cleaning :)
my parents didn't offer though, and i had no cash, so will have to make up for it when I turn 50. |

| Yeah I had a party for family friends and then another 'unofficial' party with my mates where we just went out and got hammered. |

| DO it, you gotta do it... If you dont do it you will regret it... I had mine about 2 months after i actually turned 21. I had about 100 people at my house, 80 of which were first cousins and close relatives :p Never was really about the gifts, couldnt even care less lol What actual day you turning 21? Better not be January 20 :p |
