Hello everyone!
This is the latest track Iv'e been working on , with a little help from my friend Rythmic Acid. I hope you enjoy the track , whould love to hear your oppinion about it :)

the beginning is pure love parade style, dr motte and westbam!!! :D
then it turns into pure psy trance :D
definatly some kewl psy, u know what ur doing :D
i like how u mixed a melody with the psy beats
not many melodic psy tracks out there, but this is great m8
i love when theres a melody with psy, its pure energetic trance, one of my favorite

vocal sample is cool, as well as that "beep"
after a while, the acid grows old on me, it's not thick enough to my ears... it sounds very thin like it's made out of 3xosc or something... widen it and you should be straight
new synth introduced at 2:47 sounds off, doesn't fit well in the track, imo

EtherealSL, Thank you for your reply, yeah you were close, the sounds of the acid are not 3xosc, but TS404 :gsmile: !!
Thank you i will work on that, and about the new sinth, yeah I was acctually thinking about that, if i should keep it or not, eventually i dicided to keep it... maby I should make that part shorter :)

FL5 is powerful beyond imagination, if you're comfortable with it, i don't see any reason for you to switch, don't listen to all that reason and cubase hype (yes, they're good programs, but flp is definately underrated)... i'm an flp user myself
find yourself some good VSTs (pro53, juno, absynth, superwave8, list goes on forever) and lay off the 404s if you're trying to make an acid lead. |

| wow very good bassline, fx's fits very well actually :p, this acid thing is really great, mastering seems to be fine atleast for me , overall very good track i enjoyed it, keep it up :) |

I love the bassline. I think you should put some sort of echo effect on the snare to get something of a more psy feel.
Wow, this melodic psy thing is reeeeeeeally trippy. I can't tell which way is up.
As an aside, I'm with Ethereal. I've never used Cubase, but I can tell you that if you can do this with FL, and you don't even have any VST addons, you should stick to FL. It really is extrememly underrated. And just because I use it myself, you shouldn't discount my comments.
I may just have low standards, but I love the acid as it is. It probably could be better, but I could care less. |
