Ok I REALLY need some input here from DuMonde lovers....
I'm definatly goin to Sublime NYE with Aarmin Van Buuren and planning on stayin all night... goin hard ect...
but dunno from what I've gathered Armin does seem to play quite a lot of fillers...Nothing that really makes the croud peak for hours... anyway thats the opinion of my Canadian DJ friend that has seen heaps of big name trance artists... anyway still should be a fun gig and I've got tickets...
But I also saw that DuMonde is playing at Luna Park the next day. I think it's from 2pm - 5pm... and its like $50... anyway I LOVE DuMonde so does my DJ friend he said when he saw them play maybe a year or two ago they were one of the best eva he's heard... I am really thinking maybe I should try to get there just for DuMonde's set. I got work at 8pm you see....
What do you's recon??? I could be a little scat the next day after NYE is it worth the effort?? heard someone in the forums say last year DuMonde played Melbourne and set was not much good?!? I LOVE these awesome DuMonde tracks: human, god music, crw-i feel love, m.u.t.e.-missed beat, steve morley-reincarnations
I got quite a few DuMonde vinyls, they are amongst my best... but some of the more recent stuff from DuMonde like all this years is pretty average...I wouldn't buy it

can't really compare DuMonde and Armin, two completely different DJ/Producers taking two seperate paths
I personally prefer DuMonde over Armin anyday, but thats me and I have a yearning for that harder sound |

if you like your progression of NYE/NYD bender going from trance > hard and your body can handle it, by all means don't be a softand go see Dumonde, DJs on NYE/NYD usually are in their party mood so they might drop awesome tracks, might even throw a few oldies just to rekindle the past...
however if body seems to give up and you scat as might as well stay home and listen to prog, you wont miss much anyway in my opinion (but feel free to go even harder if your brain can handle it ;) )
either way, have an absolute ball!! :cool: |

Dankershien! Only a little bit worried I'll blow 50 bucks on the ticket if I wake up too scat and cant be stuffed goin..
Oh well... Like the Swiss Germans say at Steet Parade ALLES GEBEN! wich means Give Everything!... in other words PARTY HARD!!!
Yeah I think I'll prob have to grab a ticket and at least try haul myself to DuMondes set B4 work on NYD!!!
on another topic NE one know if there is parking at Luna Park at Embrace??
