I have 4 music creation programs that a friend found. Please tell me some information about them, which one(s) are made for electronic music, and which one is best. Thank you.

Cakewalk Pro Audio 9
Home Studio XL 2004
Sony Vegas 5
Sound Forge 7

don't want to be repetitive but read the stickies...

as for the programs, sound forge is a program for editing audio... it doesn't directly create music but it edits sound files (which is used sometimes in producing)

i'm not too sure about the rest of the 3, but i think they are meant to be studios...

i personally recommend either flstudio, reason, cubase, buzz, or logic.

Techno eJay

I don't know any of the software your friend found but I do recommend you to try out FLStudio & Reason (progs which I use).

I have logic, a bird flew with it thru my window. Very strange but I was happy as the program totally rocks.
I gave him bread and water and it sang a beautifull song and we were both very happy.

Seriously if you want to be helped first look at the stickies and then at least lie instead of telling everybody you use warez.

ontopic : none of the ones you listed are made for electronic music
