Explanation :: Cheating Permitted
In keeping with our happy-go-lucky nature we've decided that even though we had to start a door charge to cover expenses (read flyers/gas money for dj's etc...) we didn't want it to discourage anyone from being involved. So when we say "Cheating Permitted" that simply means when you come to the door - and I know you'll ALL (:)) be there - and you see some schmuck - probably me - asking for the $3, you can say "I wish to cheat and not pay today" and I wil usher you in without taking a dime.
Keep in mind the money is for the people providing the music for the night though and if you have some change in your left pocket it would be better to donate 12 cents than to enjoy it for free, in essence we're experimenting with letting people's conscience be their door fee guide. I think it'll work.
see you friday |
