A MAN found confused and dehydrated after disappearing from a bush rave had been sent back to the rave earlier after he turned up on a nearby farm. Council workers found James Oates, 19, of Hawthorn, with his suitcase, at a rubbish tip at 7.10am yesterday.
It was almost two days after he had packed his suitcase and left the Earthcore rave at Undera, near Shepparton, and the second time he disappeared.
Mr Oates was returned to the rave before lunch on Sunday after he had been found wandering disoriented on a farm on the other side of the Goulburn River. He then disappeared again, packing his suitcase and heading into the bush about 4pm the same day.
Inspector Eoghan McDonald said Mr Oates was found at a council waste site yesterday, about 30km from the search area. |
