Deviant Halloween Moda live progressive mix [Balance][Headrush] Cleveland

jdat
howdy peeps :p

I just thought I should recommend this progressive set to you all!

First of all a small intro,
This is mixed by Deviant who operates the wonderful Headrush music group here in Cleveland with Amy and they've brought tons of great progs/house/breaks djs in town; as well as starting Toes in the sand recordings earlier this year that has already had a track featured Balance 006 mixed by Anthony Pappa.
He's also recently joined the Balance record pool if that is any indication of his qualities as a dj :toothless

Now in regards to the original subject:

This is a live mix by Deviant when he opened up for George Acosta at Moda in Cleveland for Halloween night.

Yep, we recorded it and are hosting it. Glad you like it!

As for Deviant's usual style, I'd have to say both yes and no, because he always puts a different spin on his sets, depending of course on the crowd, the slot he's playing (opening for a headliner or headlining himself), who else he's playing with that night, the room he's playing in...all those factors.

He can crush out a huge room trance set, or keep it bouncy and housey, or dive into some amazing scratching and breaks. (Very often in his sets he's sampling in sounds from scratching or rewinding various records or cueing CDs and most people think it's part of the track).

He's working on a new promo mix right now. Until then, here are 5 other mixes from 2004, all different but good:

Enjoy!
