NEW black and red ipod

Tranceman1982
The sony is a joke at RRP of £299.99. Rio and I-River sell comparable products at sub £200.

Sony only sells it at that price becuase people will pay that purely becuase its sony.

ps funny how Sony backtracked on the 'Atrac 3 all the way' idea

up to 30 hours of battery life and 20gb of mp3's (about time sony decided that their stuff would play MP3's  ) ?

Thank you please :D

i contemplated on gettin that instead but im not 100% keen on it to be fair Battery life is mint, but it wont actually play mp3s the software still converts them to atrac before puttin them on there and apparently the software is in gash too. not that itunes is much better i suppose but still i think id still go for an ipod

the sony software has always been gash :stongue: , however, the firmware on the NW-HD1 has now been changed so that it DOES play MP3's straight out of the box. Sony changed it as they realised that they were losing market because of this. About bloody time too!

the colour screen one is useless atm pretty much. all it does it display pictures that u store on it. tho no doubt the next generation will play video's and have a much bigger hd. And sooner or later a digital camera integrated too
