The age of the huggy candy raver is long, long gone (Which is great because I hated that crap anyway). But it has always been my understanding that one of the most important values possessed by those who truly love this music/lifestyle is a tolerant attitude. That means a global, non-militaristic, non-religious, liberal outlook. The kind of people who vote for Bush would love to see our scene/music disappear.
Personally I like my big name DJ’s, late nights, and glaucoma prevention.
Besides, 90% of the people who MAKE the music you love think that Bush is a pompous wanker.
So, to all you Bush voting TA’s…

Last I saw houston's dance scene was growing better than ever.....Sasha, Oakenfold, avb coming into town.

Bush and Kerry are (were for those who voted) both incredibly weak candidates. I dont see how you can justify voting for either.
But voting is a choice. You get to pick who you think is the best man for the job. Too bad people feel a need to side with a winner rather than choose who they think is best (This includes myself who voted Nader while admitting that John Mccain is likely the best man for the job) |
