Many magazines tend to talk about pop culture, and solely that, yet most of us are generally not overly interested. I don't want to get too specific, since magazines vary, from general, to news, to fashion, etc.
11) Depends on the time of year. From important information such as candidate platforms during election times, to news that affects youth or will affect youth, such as medical advancements, health warnings, health issues, educational options, etc.

13) Sometimes. Too many ads become annoying, however they help the magazine pay its finances. I do enjoy funny and unique ads, however, the catch here, is if they are ALL unique and funny, none of them are funny or unique. Maintain the status quo on ads.
14) Y and N. Yes, but the main problem most magazines suffer from is design flaws and information overload. Often people think a magazine cover/magazine has to 'look cool', and often they fail to actually suck in an audience, or maintain an audience if the magazine is crap.
15) Things that interest me. Varies depending on mood and needs. Content mostly, part aesthetics/design. (there is a difference. Something can LOOK cool, but it can still be poorly designed, or it could be well designed and look like crap - aesthetics are things like images or colors, etc, design is the structure, how things are laid out and the choices made in designing, even aesthetics can be considered design)
