Well, after arriving EXTREMELY early *cough*9:30*cough* we had to wait a little bit to get inside ... no biggie

waiting in line I see someone with a TA shirt so I waited to talk to him til I got inside and it ended up being B0bb0 (more info later). My friend Jon & I walked in and noticed that the sound was *odd* because it was a pretty large room for this type of event, they had stacks in each corner which echoed at first but when people got in there it sounded great. The setup was kinda cool, the placement of the smoke machine was right in our faces up front :/ but the decks were really low, his eye level was only about 8 inches above our eye level

anyway...I finally talked to b0bb0 and we talked for a few then he had to go do something so I made my way up front just chillin out til he was suppose to come on... Kolia was the guy spinning droppin some neat progressive stuff to build the crowd and I thougth was doing a really good job of it too! Well it rolled around midnight (suppose to be when pvd goes on) and Kolia is still spinning *begins to wonder* turns 1am and he's still spinning *really beginning to wonder* finally about 1:30am i believe pvd comes out and starts out, right from the beginning he didn't appear to be "happy", I personally think it was the setting that the event was in. Back in march it was much more intimate and there weren't nearly as many people ed up, obviously these people who went to see him don't know pvd is strictly anti-drug...dumbasses. I just noticed that he wasn't smiling much or anything at all, and after noticing someone say he wasn't playing with emotion @ toronto I'm curious if something is wrong...

He didn't play too much old stuff, not NEARLY as much old stuff as he did back in march or august (both times which i DID see him so...) some tracks he played weeereeee...

pvd - avenue
pvd - another way
pvd - tell me why
pvd - vega (starecase remix)
second sun - empire (maybe his remix?)
Cirillo – Cristallo (PvD remix)
Lexicon 4 – Reach Me (Remix)
pvd - out there
Three Drives On A Vinyl – Sunset On Ibiza (some horror movie sounding remix or is that what this song sounds like live? haha)
Connector – Interference
Orinoko – Island (Moguai remix)
Vaiio – Rapture (Deep Dish remix or some other remix not sure)
Viframa – Cristalle
4 strings - into the night
pvd - for an angel (ewerk remix)

tracks that i believe he played, the name i'm not so sure about (because of timing differences in sets or not 100% sure about)
Active X – Let’s Go (Vank mix)
Funk Einsatz – My Dance
Solid Sleep – Club Attack (PvD remix)
Nu-NRG – Dreamland
^^^^^
help me out of he did play those guys...

Is that enough tracks for you guys? HEHE b0bb0 & i were just rattin off names the best we could

Oh yeah...WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? for one there were so many people ed up, once again...DUMBASSES.

and when he dropped 4 strings everybody just stood there like "what's this?!?!?!?!" and didn't even move b0bb0 & i went nuts that's such a beautiful track! the tracks he dropped after that about 2-3 everybody just stood there wondering what he was playing!

I don't know, I'll give this about a 6 or 7 out of 10. The first two times seeing here were like 8 or 9's (pushin upwards to 9 that is).

It was just too big, too many people, not concentrating on what matters...

twilogoddess: yes he dropped for an angel "last" when the lights came on, but he dropped another track that I can't remember the name after that...and I don't follow remixes very well so I'm not sure which one he played, B0bb0 apparently hasn't checked the board yet

rajeev: no :/ i forgot it at home

and he lives in atl, that just might be the name he's using..

The set was pretty short. I think he came on about 1ish and stopped after 4. He did his bare minimum and left. :/ Guess I'm use to 7 hour Twilo sets... Although last time he was Atlanta, he played really well and it was much better. The lights being on for two songs, one being For An Angel, really killed the song.

The high point of the evening was probably when Another Way dropped. The lights were still off and the crowd responded very well. And the lighting was perfect. My 2nd favorite moment of the PVD set was this guy in the back of the venue just standing there in awe. He stood there watching PVD as he spun and the crowd reacted and it just amzaed him (and me too) and he said, "Wow... the man's a genius."

I like to know what songs he played in the beginning of the set. One track specifically because I've never heard it before. If you wanna hear the PVD set in Atlanta, download the Knebworth 08.11.01 set. It's very similiar to that.

PVD is still dance god. =)
