Please stop threads about the latest tracks on ASOT in New Releases !

Hey,
i think many people would agree that there are far too many threads in the New Releases forum about the latest tracks that people may have heard on Armin's ASOT show or any other show for that matter.
"OMG I JUST HEARD THE BEST TRACK EVAR!!!!" :p
It is for NEW RELEASES so i don't think these threads are appropriate in that forum. They mean that you have to wade through pages and pages of threads to find the actual New Releases.
I propose a simple solution:
(1) A Sticky at the top of the NEW RELEASES forum warning people not to post the latest tracks they heard on ASOT or other radio shows - ONLY NEW RELEASES!
(2) Mods should start locking or moving threads on tracks that are not going to be released for months.

We've had this debate already, but since the search function isn't working too well atm:
According to Neo, the forum is for new tunes you've just heard, regardless of where you heard them, when you heard them or them being actual new releases or not. I then proceeded to point out that if that's what the forum is about, then the name "new releases" is very misleading, since hardly anyone bothers to provide release dates or anything similar. Neo agreed, and said that he would put a renaming or redefinition of the forum rules up for debate with the mods. Since then nothing seems to have happened.. |

| and to the topic at hand, I totally agree but it seems that the mods don't see a problem with it. The other day one topic was moved to MD and after Nik/myself had commented, nik took a hell of a lot of abuse because people didn't realise it'd been moved. I think in such cases a mod who moves the thread should state that he has & why he has, but I honestly don't see the stupidity ending |

Let's talk about the track which have been already released or the one which wil be released in a moment...Sometimes I don't have bloody idea about the tracks mentioned out there, cause I miss ASOT sometimes and I dont know what they are talkin' about...;) It's not the "New ASOT Tracks" topic, but "New releases" so let's focus on them...Peace! |

| Can some mod/admin do something about this issue, i'm getting tired of reading 10 posts about "this thread shouldn't be in here" and like that, before i can read 1 decent reply. |
