Some production help

Good afternoon everyone! :D
I was just wondering if anyone could give me some specific production tips. Here's my dilemma: I don't usually have a problem coming up with a good main melody, support melody, a bass line and pads, but I always seem to have trouble with the intro and body of the song. I have about 10 unfinished projects that have the main part pretty much finished, but the intro and body are missing. I really want to complete these projects because I feel like they have potential, but I just can't come up with any ideas for those parts. I would really appreciate any suggestions that would help me in this situation. Do you guys follow any general guidelines that aid you in creating those parts?
If you want to hear the clips of some of those projects I'd be more than willing to upload them, and if you think you'd want to collaborate and help me finish any of those projects, I'd be willing to share synth presets and MIDI files.
Thanks in advance.

Well, I usually start with a buildup started with a few percussion sounds, and then adding more and more sounds. That's how I do it. (intro)
I would like to hear some soundclips of your songs. :) |

I think I don't follow any specific guidelines.
But when building up, I keep adding new elements (mainly percussion) and changing patterns for already introduced elements.
Also having some "mindblowing" FX sounds in the build up keeps the track moving and not so dull... |
