ahaha that was soooooo goooooooddddd

way out west were mad!!!
and faithless!!!
omg!!
argh
i was going nuts, my knee was hurting when it finished hehe
argh
haha i dunno what to say, it was just an awesome night
i neeeeeeeed to get both acts' new albums...
even the warm up dj was great :D
have to know the 2nd last track he played, before 'hybrid - im still awake', it was a breaks track with a chic singing

but anyway

faithless!!

fantastic performance, played most of the huge hits plus tracks off the new cd it was great
crowd interaction was mad, everyone saying 'ONE!!!' and screaming for salva mea :D
place was going off :D
dont know all the tracks played, narcism can fill in the blanks hehe but the ones i did know were (not in order):

reverence (well a bit at the start, dont know if it was the whole thing)
insomnia
all colours all races
god is a dj
no roots
i want more part 1
i want more part 2
what about love
miss you less see you more
bring my family back
postcards
we come one
salva mea

when they stopped we just kept going, knew they were gonna come back, but the crowd just didnt stop for like 5 mins or something waiting :)
ive never really been to a concert like that with a band so it was mad, i loved it :D
hopefully they will be back again some time!!

it was a great night, place was nuts, theres an after party at r00m but im too tired and sore and have too much work to do so i didnt go, sister bliss was apparantly gonna play so that would have been cool
w00t go faithless :D
narcism
seriously words can not comprehend how simply amazing and beautiful last night was

I cried, i danced and i seriously nearly died :p

i kept saying to ilya "i want to be sister bliss" HAHAHAH
his like "jolz u cant"
then 5 minutes later im like "i want to be like sudha"
HAHAHAH those chicks seriously rock, and it would be so cool to be able to play those percussion drums the way sudha does :)

We were to the left of the stage and i was sooking coz it wasnt close enough to sister bliss and aubrey was over that side of the stage aswell, but as soon as they came on im like WHOA who really cares where u stand.

Ilya took some video's thru sweep and reverence and also the whole of salva mea, so i will upload them as soon as i get hold of them :D

We were also entertained by the crowd just after wow had finished and ppl were hanging around, we met the funniest guy who thought ilya and i were married and then continued to interrogate us as to why we werent married :haha:

After the gig we headed down to room, stayed for a little bit, heard the guy announce that it was nick warren that was playing a dj set and we were satisfied with the night so if in fact faithless were to appear it wouldnt matter that we didnt see them there :)

not to sure if it was better than the gig at the forum two years ago, just because they were completely different gigs, i also did miss that dominate female vocal that zoe johnston gives to the band. But you cant take anything away from this gig and lsk did a really great job aswell. Altho at the start of i want more something happened with the mic and he sounded like a chimpmunk HAHAHA

what about love
i want more - part 1

One word to describe this night....UN-IN-BELIEVABLE!
It would have to be one of the best nights out i've EVER
experienced! WOW tore up the place. I loved "fear" and
"killa" and now i'm in love with their hot singer. She was busting
out some moves as well, which was mad. And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, Faithless arrived to near-full capcity ground floor and went nuts. Interaction was simply fantastic. And from where i was sittin, it looked like they were lovin performing to the Melbourne crowd. The atmosphere was electric.
The sound system was impecable, out of this world. Lights, performers, crowd,...everything i can think of was perfect.
Thanks to everyone who put the show together, well worth the
$70 and an unforgetable experience.:eyes:

That had to be one of the best live performances ive ever seen.
Way Out West were the first to perform. I Was very impressed, cool mellow songs that im not to familiar with, but certainly got me in the mood for Faithless. The vocalist was awesome and kept the crowd moving while the ground level slowly filled up.

Faithless was amazing! Maxxy Jazz is so fkn cool! and Sister Bliss is so damn gorgeous :eyespop: I liked the order in which they played their tracks. Played a few classics and some off their No Roots album..Highlights for me would have been Insomnia, God Is a Dj, I Want More and We Come one...yes there were plenty!!

I managed to snap quiet a few shots and a few video clips also. Ill post some of the vidz once ive uploaded them

ps. i got so pissed off waiting for them to setup after WOW..the lights were on..there was no room to move...and they had RnB playing in the backround but really low..i mean couldnt they have had a dj play for 30minutes!?
