I'm coming to see Above & Beyond.
Can somebody recommend some hotels to go to. We should be arriving in Vancouver around Midnight on the Friday. Not to cheap, but not expensive and kind of close to everything.
Plus maybe some interesting places to go, other than the aquarium.
And if anyone wants to meet before hand, I'm open for anything.
Thanks a bunch

now for fun.. this really cool place called the persia tea house, which is near Davie and Seymore, is where you sit down and smoke some persian hookah. the stuff you smoke is called nargela, and its like a wet molasses tobacco type stuff, you could have never smoked before in your life and this stuff will go down smooth, it tastes great, and its really fun.
what else... hmm not much you can do outside cause itll be rainin... just the usual stuff, movies, shoppin on robson or pacific center... oh, theres the planetarium that has a lazer show every fri and sat night , which is always nuts when you sample some of the worlds best bc bud... ahh yes
anyways if youre bored, gimme a call... 604817-nico... hope that helps |

| science world is cool. theres tons of local beaches if you get good weather. gastown has this storyeum thing which just opened this summer. out at UBC there is the museum of anthropology. theres alot of theatres. do a shooping trip down granville or robson streets. Friday night in richmond danny taylor runs ascensiona t viva club... its good progressive trance (danny is the one bringing a + B). Chinatown or the main public library are cool buildings. dont forget to hit up the virgin records on burrard and robson. If you are feeling daringtake a 10 minute skytrain trip to commercial and walk up and down the drive, sampling the ethnic restaurants. MEtrotown is also worth checking out if you like freeking huge malls. A trip to grouse mountain saturday duringthe day is worthwhile... you can see the entire city from the top. |
