Some of the things I look for:
- I can listen to it from start to finish 3x in a row without getting bored
- It doesn't sound the same as all the other trance out there -- unique is GOOD
- Instantly makes me feel like I'm at a party vibing away to the beat
It's very hard to please the majority of you..but I seem to do a good job of that somehow.. Sometimes I get emailed asking why I don't post track _________ from DJ _________ or whatever -- chances are, if it's a very popular track then I won't post it cuz it should be easy to find -- I'd rather post a good track by some 18 year old dude that nobody has heard of then an 'average' remix that was done by a well-known DJ/producer.
Do I only like trance?
Hell no, I love all kinds of house, techno as well.. I can listen to the odd jungle song but don't expect to see one up on here (sorry junglists!)
