This is song is Mandalay - Beautiful (7 Canny mix)

Listen to the back part of the drum.. the starting.. How do I actually achieve that?

Is it to be done on the filter program with a low velocity on the midi?

Which filter program will be better to do it??

I had tried doing but it doesnt sound rather smooth. n yes I did add some reverb delay on it but it wasnt that clear afterall?

Thanks to all once again!

it's a lfo or something that moves the cuttoff a little. Maybe some resonance.

You can do that with old synths that have inputs for their filters, like the Korg MS-20. Hell, if you have the Korg Legacy VST, which includes the MS-20, you can use the filters, too. It has band-pass, low-pass and high-pass...lots of possibilities. :)

Thanks guys:)

Sounds like a hi-pass filter. Adobe Audition can easilty do that.
