Hello everyone!!! What a great night!! I had so much fun at 1150, the most fun I have had there in a LONG time!
G & D 's set was amazing!! This was my first time seeing them and they FAR exceeded my expectations. Every song just seemed like a favorite, it was really great. Thanks so much G & D for coming to Atlanta!!!
It was great to meet some new peeps and to see all the old ones too! Sorry I missed the after party but having to study the next day was a priority, and I'm glad I went to bed fairly early (well 3:30 am, earlier than most!!). I can't wait to see all of you at PVD!! |

Pre-party Dinner
Thanks everybody for coming out! It is safe to say the dinner was a huge success. I had a reservation for 25 people and 27 showed up. Right on the money. :) We gave those waitresses a hard time but in the end I think they were happy with the 18% tips. ;) I hope everyone enjoyed the food at Fuergo's as much as I did. I liked their tapas because it's so shareable.
Gabriel & Dresden Show
Wow, what a show. Gabriel & Dresden blew me away! I can't remember when 4 hours went by so fast. Their set's energy, flow and tracklist was excellent! Definitely one of the great parties of the year for me. It was surreal looking at old people (50+) dancing on the dance floor. :eyes: I assumed they were guests from the previous private party that stayed for the show. I gotta say they were really breaking down. A few of them were visibly intoxicated. I only hope I can do the same when I am their age. Hope their hangover wasn't too bad. :haha:
Afterparty
Honestly, I almost didn't make it. I was dead tired from G&D. I passed out in the backseat as Trey drove Tom and I to Ken's. I am glad I did though. I got to spin to brief set and got to hang out with some good friends. Who could ask for more?
To the TAs
We rule. Great meeting all the new TAs. Hope to see you guys in future TA meetups and parties. :toothless
Awesome meeting Bobby, The Peach's husband, and Wolfie. Haha Wolfie is so cute, I really want a dog now. Bobby, hope to see you again soon!
