A song I think I want to finish...is it worth it?

Well, I don't produce anymore because of the Army and have even been thinking of selling all the gear, but I can't. Anyway, I was fidling around in Cubase and came up with this template. I really like it so far and I think it would make a good song. Hopefully, I'll be able to start working on it and finish it...I've never finished a song in my life or even got to more than 10% of completion. :(
The title is Tough to Say Goodbye...I sold my Prophecy on eBay and that night I was feeling down so I just sat in front of the PC and let my feelings do the mood of the song...I'll miss that little bugger, even though we didn't get to play around much.

kind of like TIME to say goodbye, by envio ;)
but its ok
track is really slow and relaxing
song sounds like a vadim zhukov vs solarsstone type of track
i think u should def. finish this, has a lot of potential
and good luck with the army ;)

| So there's a released track with that name already? Blegh...thanks for letting me know, brother. :) Next time before I name a track, I'll do a search on Google to make sure the name is not taken already and I don't look like a fool. :d |

Nah, Envio's track is Time to Say Goodbye, not Tough :) |

| Oh that's cool. I wanted it to be Time but I chose Tough because it meant more to me. :) |

I like the whole idea, it needs some serious mixing and stuff though.
I didn't really like the intro, kicks & hats needs work and melody could use a softer touch imo.
Nice atmosphere though, and the melody is great although quite simple. Quality is a bit low. Digging the bassline :)
I really think you should finish it, it does have potential if you put more work into it. ;) |

Thanks, guys :) . Yeah, like I said, it's just a template...like all my stuff...never gets completed :(. Of course it needs serious mixing...you know when you get inspired, you throw something together with the main ideas so you don't forget it later. :tongue2 |
