Not really. Anyone with decent racing game experience (ex. NFS series) and a slight knack at driving in real life can pull that , as long as they have no conscience and a little bit of luck in terms of no one changing lanes in front of them (because even if a driver sees you coming, they could be dumb and change right into your lane). |

Think about what I said (I said it really slopilly I guess).
Skills like that can be developed in video games which simulate the same types of situations in a driving environment (situational awareness, optimal path finding in limited time constraints, knowing the exact dimensions of your vehicle so that you don't nick anything, let alone drive straight into it).
Most gamers are much better at motor skills than the average person. They catch onto new situations faster (for example, compare a non-gamer changing vehicles to a gamer changing vehicles - the gamer will get used to the new handling characteristics much faster). btw, I'm talking about real-life, not different vehicles in a game or something.
You don't have to agree with me, but just think about it before you make a decision. |
