Need help with nightspots in Nottingham

razmataz
Hi guys,

Ive been in England for a year now and enjoying it, but have yet to go out in Nottingham. I hear its really kicking.

So I was wondering if I anyone would be kind enough to help me out with any recommended destinations/nightclubs and their websites to book VIP tables (I hate waiting in line :) ).

Cheers!

Renaissance is my favourite night in notts. It's held every month at the the bomb, you can also get your name down on the paying guestlist if you so wish via the website. I also hear good things about other sat nights at the bomb such as nyc deep.

Also just as I was finishing uni in june, stealth was a new club opening up offering good breaks lineups ui think amongst others. Not to sure how the nights stealth and spektrum possibly are faring but i'd look into those.

As for non clubbing hotspots, nottingham has em in abundance, check out the lace market bars, market bar is one of my favs with a varied music policy. While pitcher & piano is a must, the place i'd recommend the most is the & hoop, a great little bar tucked away which has good beer, guest ales and i;m told good food in the daytime.

Stay away from rock city, any detonate lineups, ocean (been there once and only once), the works. If you want to go "clubbing" without the musical appeal use media, nice venue.

Good man! That info is excellent. Will print it out. I am liking The Bomb already (couldn't find pictures of interiors and crowd though). Media looks like the standard if-all-else-fails-end-up-there club. :)

once again, cheers! ANy more recommendations are welcome :)

ps: do either of the clubs have seatings I can reserve?

As far as i'm aware no club has seating to reserve in nottingham.

Allough im really posting to let you know that renaissance is no longer at the bomb, and have moved to a new residency starting at stealth (Masonic Place,Goldsmith St ,Nottingham, NG1 5GG).

Its opening night is set for Saturday 25th September, where Sander Kleinenberg will be headlining with a Pioneer DVJ set.

Shame its moved, coz the bomb has a fantastic atmosphere and is a real experienc, i'd really give it a look if you can find a line up to suit you. Allough be warned it gets really really hot.
