Party: Black-Hole Special
Place: 't Vat 69 - Leeuwarden - Netherlands
Time: 23:00 till 06:00
DJ's: Marlin (resident)
Dazzle
Montana
Cor Fijneman

Me & a friend of mine, whose name is Otto, arrived around 22:30 at the
discotheque. When we wanted to go in, it was totally EMPTY. We thought
that it would be very busy, cause of the fact that there was a really
good line up, but i think people in the northern-regions of Holland
just dont know good music :)
So because of the fact that is was very quiet we decided to make a tour
to see all the local pubs. I wont tell ya all the details :)
We got back around 0:30 o'clock and after paying 20 guilders we went for
bar. It wasnt very crowded at that time, but hey, it wasnt even 02:00
o'clock. Dazzle was mixing his tunes nice & gentle...Dazzle is the man
behind the Freedom-series, which are some really nice relaxing trancy
tunes, with sometimes a bit progressive stuff in between. He is a really
upcoming talent, i'm sure he will be just as big as Tiesto some day...

First we had a few drinks & talked to some locals. A lot of people were
already on XTC & some wierdos were dancing very wierd on the dancefloor
(in Dutch: Hakken).
Dazzle started to play harder & harder... and my feet started moving.
Damn what a set! Its a totally different style Dazzle played the night
before on ID&T-radio. Really cool, almost hardhouse even... he played
real good progressive tunes, like Katana-Fancy Fair (Original Remix) &
Bjorn Svind - Man over board. But it was defenitely pumping!
I talked a while with Dazzle and asked him if there was going to be
a new Freedom-Album in the near future. That wasnt the case Dazzle said,
but there was going to be a new sublabel on BlackHole called 'SOUNDBOX',
and he was going to a cd for that sublabel. Nice bloke, that DJ Dazzle!
Dazzle ended his set with Kosheen vs Tiesto - Hidden Flight.

At 02:15 my favorite DJ since Dance Valley, Dj Montana (Peanut power!) took
over the wheels of steel. Montana is the DJ who mixed Space Age volume 2, 3
and 4. His style is progressive/trance & also bit techno.
He continued the hard style of Dazzle, and also played some really cool
Oldstyle/hardcore kind of stuff... The place went crazy!
A lot of old 'gabbers' in the place :) But i really liked it also..
The track i liked most was the trance remix of Salt'n peppa's "Push it".
I heard Ferry Corsten playing the song a while ago... but i've never heard
it since...until now!!
We danced our ass of from 01:00 till 03:30 so we needed a brake.
Got something to drink and fooled around with some girls (but they were tripping
on XTC..bleergh).
Montana really knew how to let the crowd dance, cause the dancefloor was
all packed. The MC also started talking, which usually sucks.. also this time.
The MC was MC Mouth of Madness, who started out as a hardcore MC in the early
days.

Around 4:15 Cor Fijneman took over. Cor Fijneman mixed In Trance We Trust 5
and 6....really cool albums! His played the style i'm used from him, real
cool trance & progressive. Although we didnt stay till the end of his set,
he spun some amazing tunes....

A really wicked party from a really SUPERB label!!

Greetz,
SnuggLe
