Damn that was organised quicksmart! Where's it being held (physically)?
DJ_Octane
At Mike's house I reckon. I think you'll be on the third show AND we can have Travis come down to play that night too.
Rememberence_
Awesome! Talk to you more about it later then :)
zenbudda
is it cool to record the sets?

also, is there a recorder that actually rips to mp3 immediatly? or do they all go to wav?
Rememberence_
depends on the setup, but most likely it'll be a simple mp3 or wma encoder which has an uplink to a server with more bandwidth... depending on the software we may or may not easily be able to record. But there's always a way, I might setup a computer to record the whole show if possible, since my MD recorder won't do 6 hours and I don't have DAT.

you see now that I am feel safe in the group .. can you find a way to get my Cdj 700 pioneers to stright line to my computer to upload tracs and music ?

If you wish to do that, all you have to do is get an RCA-to-1/8" jack cord to input into you "Line Out" on your computer from your mixer. Once that is done, load up your recording software (I recommend Soundforge 7.0 or Total Recorder), then prepare to record!

We do have a way to record the show from here, so if you wish to spin and want us to record it, let us know by emailing to:
