There's a lot of idiots in the rave scene that just hate trance. Not only do they hate the music itself, they hate any person who listenst to it right away. Their hate is so strong that these people do ridiculous things, sometimes violent.
I always wondered why is it that most people who like trance don't really hate on other genres as do these 'trance haters' on trance, and people that listen to trance? Seems like to them it's personal.. if you like trance, you are an idiot and they must hate you cause of it.
What are your views on this whole trance hater bs? |

It's not that people are trance haters, it's that so much bad is assotiated with the trance scene. Go to one of the massives and go to the main room and you'll see what I mean. Circles of swinging asians ed our of their minds, 13 year old girls, candy ravers and the likes.
There is nothing wrong with GOOD trance but so many people play CHEESE!

| lots of trance is really bad and gives people a lot of reasons to hate it don't know what the word is but so much of it is just pointless fluff same old stuff over and over, that being said there is still good stuff around, but who cares what other people think about your musical taste, I'm sure you have made fun of people that listen to rap or country before |

Well, your exactly right, considering for example when I was living in Vancouver in October, I went to Spooky 8 in Chilliwack, BC. I dont mean to bash asians or anything, but its true their so screwed out of their mind, they grab their girlfriends and swing them around like morons and bash their girlfriends heads into other ppl. Not cool, I dont have a problem with the candy ravers (Their nice ppl), but for the 13 yr olds, they should be checking some sort of identification, cause seeing cracked out 13 yr olds makes me wanna puke.:whip: :whip: |

| Yeah..I think that they just dont understand the music. That might be for different reasons, but the most common reason I come across is that there just plain ignorant. Most of people I see hating on electronic music of anykind are usually the hiphop crowd. I mean at raves you can find of course the: young girls, asian gangs, drug dealers, and the meat heads. The REAL candy ravers arnt a problem, (maybe for the media and falsly representing the scene,) but there generally nice people. I think the only thing that could bring up that kind of hate is pure ignorance and not understanding the music. Put those together and you have some music nazi on your hands :eyespop: |
