| I recently finished the game and it was worth the time I put into it. The graphics on my computer caused a bit of problems at the start but after some tweaking, it ran without any problems. I haven't tried multiplayer though.. |

I never beat the game but I got to the last room of the game where you have to kill all those trigens and snipers and then I just quit because I couldn't beat it.
I thought the game was excellent, nice mix of weapons, and interactive things like hanggliding, sneaking, swimming, using boats, etc. Had a bit of everything. Comparing it to doom though isn't really fair as doom is a very pure shooter and far cry was more of a fps war sim more in the same level of Front Line Assault and Vietcong.
I'd say the exteriors are the best i've seen, I'd really like to see what the doom3 and unreal3 engines can do with a realistic exterior environment since so far all we have seen are dark mechanical interiors. |

| It was a fun single player experience. I played it non-stop, night and day, until I beat it. It was incredibly long but I enjoyed every minute of it. Haven't touched it since I beat it... |
