I am still in a state of complete disbelief at what I witnessed last night........That was the first real live PA I have ever seen (sorry but Darude just doesn't count) and I was seriously blown away.
I have smiled from the second I arrived at Plush and am still smiling.....I feel like a psy crazed cheshire cat...WOW
Seriously I was so inspired and the crowd was phenomenal and Jesten and I had a good laugh about the message board and all was right with the world. It was one of those truly magical evenings that just seems to melt seamlessly into the next day and something you never want to end.
It was great to hear Chris play again and see a DJ get excited about music for once. I danced like a maniac for as long as my poor body could handle it and was so content. I would have paid $100.00 to go see this show, a true live artistic performance.
AP reminded me why I fell in love with the music and my love only deepened last night. I felt like I had run into an old friend and had the most amazing chat as if no time had passed and we understood eachother like we had never been apart.....wierd I iknow but I have a strange affection for the music. The people were the icing on the cake. So many WICKED WICKED peeps :D

Here is the full review now that I have partially recovered from this awesome long weekend.
I've came to Plush at around 10:30 and didn't have any problems getting in, probably because it was a Sunday.
Once inside I didn't waste any time and started dancing to the amazing sounds of psy trance. Chris was playing really hard psy trance and although he train wrecked a few transitions in the beginning, he didn't make any mistakes throughout his set. To tell you the truth I must have enjoyed Chris’ set as much as Aps :) Gives me another reason to come to West 23 for organix nights now.
AP showed up late for their set! They were late for their set in Edmonton as well. The duo is consistently late. At first they played new psy trance tunes that I didn’t recognize, and after 20 minutes or so they started playing their older tunes. I enjoyed the older tunes more. Their set consisted primarily of nice uplifting psy trance, the kind of stuff that AP is know for.
This was an awesome party overall, and it was easily worth $100 as spinswax has said. |

| Amazing crowd, amazing sound, simply one of the best club nights I've ever been to in this city. AP were ing awesome, I love thier unique sound. They seemed like really nice people and I got to shake thier hands after thier set. Was also great to see everyone from TA having so much fun, it was a great time partying with guys! Hehe let's hope Organix bring in Astrix for thier next show! |
