Jesten I think you are taking this a tad too personally.
Again I apologize .....one for not acknowledging you at Viva although Ii don't even remember you talking to me at all....(if you look at the post viva set thread you would realize I was hammered.....not cool on my part I am terribly sorry, not to mention my terrible memory with names....again not your fault at all you just need to hit me over the head sometimes with a hammer)
Secondly for not being more specific in this thread. Would you be happier if I just erased the thread? Is that what you want? Obviously this has hit home pretty hard for you and I want to know why. I never singled anyone out on this board and never will. I was upset yes.
Perhaps my comments were biting and harsh. But I have been told harsh things too and it has opened my eyes a bit the truth hurts........wasn't it you who told me what a ty DJ I am a long time ago?
You know what? That really hurt, but I kept working and I continue to keep working and it people like you that drive me harder so thank you for that.
As for this thread it is more about no one goes out. Period. And it is sad. I just have a problem with people who profess to know everything about every DJ and remixer etc but won't go out and see them in the flesh. That was the point.
Anyways enough already. I am sure you have put me in your black book of evil DJ's never to support again. Oh well. Bad me.....

| Mirka, don't take things so seriously. The people that support will change from year to year, so as long as you remain dedicated to whatever your goal is, you should be happy. Personally I can't look at music as "godly", or "the best", or "the reason I'm here on earth".... it's just music. Some people like it, some people don't- that won't ever change and there is no way to prove to someone that whatever music I like it the best |

First off I said you had a bad night and I said I don't think you suck. But this was only after you bashed Danny Taylor and Sean Walsh and the other Viva DJs. Calling them 'Sub-par', making fun of the tunes they played and bashing their club night in general. The things you said where way harsher than anything I ever said, but yes that is the past.
I had forgotten about that but apparently you forgot about what you said aswell.
And to be honest I am not taking this personally. The only reason I even mentioned anything is because you could have made your point without having to insult people. That simple.
And I don't think you should erase this. I am not angry or upset in fact I am enjoying this conversation. And no I don't think you are 'evil' or even have a problem with you. Not at all. |

| Ya incase you can't tell.. Mirka is very passionate about what she does. I have to agree with the stuff she has said here, and stand by her 100%. Now that she's gotten a few of you thinking. Prove her wrong. Not just at our club night but other weeknight club nights in this city. As for Jetsen,,, Really i think it's time to drop it. You've made your points and there's really no point in beating a dead horse. Now if you feel that more should be said... your more than welcome to come and discuss it with me any Thursday night at the Drink. I'm there at 9pm every week. |
