Very Important Ministry Of Sound Info *please Read*

maddhatterradio
Due to a family emergency Jerry Bonham is unable to perform at the Ministry of Sound event on Friday @ The Mark. In his career spanning nearly 15 years he has only missed 2 gigs and this is one of them. He and his agency are very apologetic, and our warmest regards go out to him and his family during their time of loss.

With all that being said, The Ministry of Sound and MaddhatterRadio are excited to announce an artist with productions on Bedrock, Renaissance and MOS, as well as countless remixes for artists World Wide to take Jerrys place…..

John Debo (Bedrock, Renaissance, Sq1 Records)

Of course, what is most important to this DJ is the music. He cringes at the common practice of genre based labeling of music based on the way it sounds. His musical focus, as John likes to put it, is on quality tunes which withstand the test of time – timeless, if you will.

The spell that he casts over dance floors has been felt worldwide with seminal gigs at Avalon in Boston & LA, Spundae in San Francisco & Chicago, Space in Miami, Aria & Stereo in Montreal, Koolhaus in Toronto as well as Bedrock & Renaissance in the UK and Space in Ibiza, as well as performing with John Digweed on New Years in Los Angeles to name a few. His sound has been captured on two mix CDs released in 2001: Chrome 01 on Bliss and Logic Trance 5 on Logic 3000.

Founding two of Boston’s pioneering club nights – Chrome & Avalon were conceived as conduits to bring forward thinking DJs and upfront dance music from around the world to Boston. His vision is global - not provincial. Chrome quickly garnered a reputation of being one of THE club nights in the US and
Avalon was selected by Mixer Magazine as the #1 club in America for 2002.

Given the success of his debut material on Stress, it should be no surprise that John Debo has found a home for his other work. Remixes have been released on Bedrock & Yooshi as well as an original collaboration “Deported” with Steve Porter on Bedrock. Past production includes remixes for the likes of Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Blur, The Charlatans UK, Candyland, Pendulum and My Friend Sam featuring Viola Wills, Debo has managed to bring his touch to a quirky bunch of classic tunes.

John has recently left Boston and relocated to sunny Orlando Florida to focus on his true passion, - the music. The move allows him to fully explore his artistic mind and immerse himself in writing, production and DJing. He has also started a record label with fellow friend and Dj Kimball Collins called Sq1 Records. Simply put - a dream becomes a reality.

The future for John has never been more clear – become a breathing component to his studio and share his music with the world.

Along with...

Taylor
(Bedrock, Ministry of Sound) Los Angeles, Ca

At the forefront of the US progressive trance scene, Taylor has earned the distinction of being one of the first US DJ's to represent the Ministry of Sound, the largest dance music company in the world, with the release of "Trance Nation America". This double CD, which was released on Ultra Records, with one mix by Taylor and the other from Jimmy Van M proved to be one of the most successful compilations sold by MOS that year.

Since that time Taylor has released numerous mix compilations and has focused his energies in the studio producing tracks with long time friend and partner Paul Brogden (POB) for Bedrock in the UK as well as numerous other labels.

Playing uncompromisingly intense sets, Taylor is known for the perfectionism of his flawless, key-matched mixes. His style has shifted from his primarily Trance sound to an infused blend of Progressive House and Trance building the evening in a way all his own.

Join us as we welcome back Taylor to Atlanta with MOS.
