Howdy folks,
Here are some pics (http://www.suzysolar.com/new/photos/canada_2004/) from our recent trip to Calgary, Canada where Suzy played along with Germany's DJ Dean and Gary D. Some of you may know of DJ Dean from his Tunnel Trance Force and DJ Network CD compilations on Tunnel Records. Gary D is also a big name in Germany and is known for his Techno & Hard Trance compilations D- Trance. |

The tune of that moment was SolarStone's - Speak in Sympathy, Neo & Farina's unreleased mix. She dropped it the second to last track of her set at about 4am. Its a wicked tune that, at the breakdown comes to a brief silence before a nice vocal kicks in. It was really cool to see the whole arena go silent for those seconds and then explode with energy again after the break. Its one of those songs that really sets crowds off if played at the right time. |

Sorry JP, the girl in the pic wrote and asked me to remove the original x rated picture so i compromised with her and censored it.
At the party, the girl climbed up into the dj booth during Suzy's set. The booth was about 12 feet high and we had to climb a tiny wobbley ramp to get up there. Once she got up there she realised that she was too trashed to get back down on her own. Luckily Dj Dean came to her rescue.
As far as the crowd, lots of partying, trance-loving Asians. Suzy fits in really good up there ;-) |
