Promise Cherry Beach Sunday Afternoon Soundsystem

We have an awesome dj lineup this week and we wanted to highlight one of them to pique your curiosity.
Ivan Marz has been playing numerous chill out rooms in the last few years at the popular psychedelic trance parties. The more ambient style in this genre is really interesting and Ivan has been one of the best collectors of it. The sound is somewhere between break beat, dub, and trance with cool subdued psychedelic sounds in it and a house tempo at times. It's realy cool and last time we heard him play at a party, we saw a number of people making their way to the dj booth to find out the names of the tracks so they could buy them. These people weren't even djs. This set will be the perfect break in a great day of house and techno.

Bring a frisbee, bring a kite, bring a handy sweater, bring a dog (only nice dogs), bring your lover and a hammock. And pass the time on this lazy sunny sunday afternoon with friends and friends of friends.
Take Lakeshore Blvd East of Toronto, just past Parliament Turn sound south down Cherry Street all the way to the parking lot at the end and go east into the parking lot at your left. At the furthest east of the parking lot, walk along the bike path, then turn left up into the trail into the woods…you'll hear music. If you end up at the lake, you are going the wrong way.
Biking to Cherry Beach is easy along the trails beside the lakeshore, and there seems to be a new bus service that goes all the way down to the beach finally.
things to think about:
Please don't bring more than you plan to take back out with you - leave no trace.
Bring something warm and something to sit on and also something to keep sun off your head.
Bring a picnic to share and don't forget cigarettes if you smoke.
Bring some kind of interesting lights for when it gets dark
