Went to Slammin a few weeks ago which was wicked especially in the old skool room. As the Sanctuary has now gone they have relocated to the Royal Bath & West Showground with the next event on October 30th. Its a shame other promoters havent used this venue as it is almost as big as the NEC - bout 10,000. However the owners stopped events such as Dreamscape using it as someone died there. |
I remember Dreamscape being there, must've been 96/7 ? |

heh, i ended up giving SV a miss for the last one :/
tried to get tickets at the last minute but was sold out:whip:
but from what i hear it was crowded as hell anyway, and i can always buy the tape pack :D |

Yes Dreamscape did use Royal Bath & West quite a few times in 96,97 and 98. Fantazia also put on one event there in 1992.
Slammin was very busy but not as bad as everyone has said. Due to Hixxy being in an accident the hardcore set times were a bit messed up but other than that everything went well especially in the old skool room. Two of my mates came down on the day and was offered tickets for £100 by security but in the end they bought some off some ravers for £20! There are always people with spare tickets you just have to get there before the touts do.
The old skool was wicked definatley get the tape pack. Ramos,Ellis Dee and Phantasy sets were awesome. |
