bouncers do have a difficult job.
I work in a supermarket (of sorts) and underage sales is the biggest concern amongst all retaliers these days. The punishments are harsh and trading standards send round "test subjects" to catch us out.
Its unfortunate that your gf was not allowed in, but ultimatly I would have done the same, if its not prove it (portman group), passport or drivers licence then im afraid the bouncer would be risking his job and the liscencee's (sp?) job.
I hate having to ID people, but we get constant abuse from the gaff as will the bouncers so its understandable. In my opinion i think boucers do a good job and if you think they are sometimes heavy handed you must appreciate how much of a pain in the arse drunks can be. |
