yep...i played CS for about 2-3 years (2001-2003) till I quit it last spring. but lately im playing it again and since i got a linuxserver in a serverparc somewhere i installed CS on it and hooked up a server w wc3mod :D
CS aint fun without that mod i tell ya.

ya I stopped playing cs I'm waiting for source.. I don't want to bore myself even more..
I think the most I ever had fun with cs was whne beta 2 was released.. now that was fun.. there were soo many glitches it made you laugh like mad.. and you could do so many funny things till everything got serious in the later stages lol.. there was one when the knife waas soo powerful that I always used it and stayed on top of the buildings.. especially the snow level i stayed up in the corner.. and when they came around I just jumped on them and knifed them.. and i ran away like a little girl ahahah.. they were like wtf? where the hell did he come from.. the only thing I said was "I'm rambo" lmao..
I dont know if you remember but the snow level was the two broken buildings on both sides and there was this long passageway below the surface, and you could climb the cliffs and see from the bottom. They took it off but that was a fun map.. I can't believe they took away the driving option too.. which blows even more.. I had fun running the apc in the garage and leaving it there ahaha.. |

i still play now and then, i was addicted big style when i was 14, couldnt get enough of the game, its gone pretty now, and the recent updates have made the game too noob friendly!
playin cs more than usual atm due to boredom and playing with rl m8s which adds more fun to the game, so if any1 fancys gettin there ass kicked msg me in #trance on quakenet server! (irc nick icewilly) |

| I havent played for about 18months, but i would like to get into it again. Whats all this steam stuff all about? is that still going? how do i go about playing coz i think its 1.4 / 1.5 on my comp at the moment. |

cs 1.4 etc used a client called WON to connect to servers,
1.6 has its own program called STEAM, where u can manage servers, favourites, buddy list, what games to play etc.
