As always, Evolve nights endeavour to blur the boundaries between broken beats and the standard house grooves.
Joining us in Perth for another intimate occasion of house & breaks is one of Melbourne’s brightest, young talents, James Young. At only 21, James has already gained a residency at one of Melbourne’s upfront and leading clubs, Altitude.
James has played along side Way out West's Jody Wisternoff and Melbourne progressive dons Sean Quinn, Chris Meehan, Luke Chable, Ivan Gough, Phil K and Mark James. James is a natural. Inspired by the likes of Dave Seaman, James’ sets are synonymous with funk and charisma. Not content to just play stock standard house rhythms, James endeavours to keep his sets interesting and energetic. James won’t let his crowd down.
James will be supported by some of Perth’s most diverse & passionate Dj’s covering a broad spectrum of both the house & breaks sounds. Including a very special house & breaks set between two of Perth’s most experienced campaigners, Micah & Tigger.
The first 50 through the door will receive a free copy of the Evolve Promo Mix mixed by Tigger.
