It should be illegal for anyone in Cleveland to support Bush. Northeast Ohio has lost more jobs in his administration than any other area in the country. |
And that is just one of many issues that makes it insane for anyone to vote for Bush. Don't forget his opposition to stem cell research, his environmental record, the tax breaks for the wealthy, his anti-gay positions, and, oh yeah, initiating a pre-emptive war based on false pretenses.
It absolutely boggles my mind that 50% of this country would still vote for Bush. Must be the 50% that thinks everything can be solved with guns and prayer. If I were this incompetent at my job, I would have been fired after three months. He took the greatest support we had ever received from the international community and, within months, turned it into resentment, hatred, and disgust.
I think it especially shocking that someone who is into the dance music scene would vote Republican. Ever heard of the RAVE Act? Or the insane drug legislation enacted during the Reagan era? And the B.S. anti-drug ads on TV now? If you want kids to stop doing drugs, you do it by being open and truthful with information, not by distorting it. Once kids realized that smoking pot didn't actually fry your brain like an egg, they wondered what else the government lied about, and ended up being more willing to try stronger drugs.
HeadRush Music will be hosting a major Democratic party fundraiser with a headlining DJ at a Cleveland nightclub in October. Stay tuned...
