From my experience the party is suposte to end around 8ish but it has gone longer. Yo never know how long guys like FERRY will keep the night going. |
As Sly_Guy said, the party will end after 9pm... But Ferry WILL NOT be closing the KH. He's going to have an early timeslot in the KH b/c he has to be in Montréal later on...
I asked him on his forum and he said he "doesn't think he'll be able to play 8 hours..." ;) And since the Cream line-up has been finalized, he's in the middle of the bill (DJ 4 of 6), so that puts to rest ANY speculation that he'll close out the KH.
Sorry TO, I know everyone is expecting him to do something like he did last year but it's just not going to happen. :(
...Lastly, planes are going back and forth BUT the DJs are going ONE way: TO --> MTL :D |

This will be my first year going to this and im pretty excited. My quesion is, i am driving up from buffalo and i want to sleep a little before i drive home. Should i make a reservation for a normal night (check out at 12 noon on the 6th) or a day stay (check in at 8am and be out by 6pm). |
Go for the day stay, it's a lot easier that way. You'll be able to crash at the hotel and not worry about setting an alarm, or the maid banging on the door to get ya out. Also heading home on the monday night the traffic probably won't be nearly as bad as monday afternoon.
ps... Comfort Suites on Jarvis is great, i've stayed there many times and if you're with a group of people there's two beds and a pull out couch, and within walking distance of the guv - if you get the day stay, park at the hotel, walk to the guv so ya don't have to worry about driving afterwards (or cab it) |

Comfort Suites, eh? Those are on Jarvis and Dundas if I'm not mistaken... Just a word of caution, that isn't the most friendly neighbourhood at night! But it's approximately a 15 - 20 min walk to the Guv, go directly south on Jarvis.
There's also "The Grand" hotel very close by to the Comfort Suites.
Best of luck finding accommodations! :D |
