***CAMP REGGAE Festival 2004*** LABOR DAY WEEKEND!!!

MellowFrost
Enjoy the vibes of the deep, smokey mountains!!!
With family old and new. Relax in your tent & listen to the roots reggae echoing through the beautiful landscape of Camp Reggae. When your ready to party, come down into the natural ampetheater & groove all night to the sweet music of the top Reggae bands. When its time to refresh your spirit & body, walk down the nature trail to the rejuvenating mineral springs to bathe (dont forget the mud bath). When the sun is shinning, its time for a soccer match, then down to the river for a swim. But dont stray to far because Natti Love Joys & the other bands are whinding up for another long night of jammin.

For the sixth year, Camp Reggae has been joining people of all nations together under the common banner of reggae music & the love of the outdoors.

Nestled deep in the Smokey Mountains, on a 1,500 acre private retreat, Camp Reggae allows the spirit to fly free. Enjoy an eclectic range of musical talent & sweet reggae in a hundred different ways.

Caribbean food, international vendors, white water rafting, hiking, camping, & relaxing are just some of the things you will experience during Camp.

Part of History... Back before the turn of the Millennium, three musical friends relocated to the peaceful mountains of Tennessee. Jati, Marla, & Naga soon developed a desire to share the beauty & healing energy of their corner of the smokies.

Already making music as Natti Love Joys, the group called on some friends with other reggae bands to play in the first annual Camp Reggae. Held at Lake Nia in Sassafrass Ridge, the first Camp was a great success considering half the people who tried to come never found it. It took some of the city folks some time to find us.

Camp Reggae then moved across the mountain to Skip and Helen's farm for three years, where we had a few weddings, babies, and mud slide. Now we are very happy to announce that Camp Reggae has a home in Sassafrass Ridge, Tennessee as of the fifth year.

The new location is well elevated and offers plenty of tree coverage and beautiful vistas. An international sized stage has been completed in the natural amphitheater & launches Reggae music into the deep forest all weekend long. Voices of the Congos, Natti Love Joys, Nadine Sutherland, Bunny Brown, Shaggie Williams, Mystic Vibrations, A.K.A. Rudie, Selah, and many more still echo through gentle woodlands.
