are DJ's Mirka L. Cerny, DJ Lidster, and Danny Taylor. We welcome you to a
unique experience molded after some of the world's top clubs, playing the
best up front and cutting edge music Vancouver has to offer.
Mirka L Cerny (Blacktiger Recordings,Boomtown,CJSF)
Mirka is one of western canada's top techno and trance djs. Having played
with stars such as Hennes and Cold, Jaspa Jones, The Bassbin twins, Lange,The Thrillseekers,Rank 1, Timeok and Darren Pearce aka JDS in the past
6 months alone she has clearly made an impact on the westcoast. Signed to
Black Tiger Recordings in the fall of 2003 she has begun her producing
career with tracks in the works. In addition to her career as a budding
producer, she has expanded her fan base internationally doing online radio
shows on trancesphere.com and afterhoursdjs.org. Mirka has begun to travel
with multiple performances in Calgary and Regina. Best known locally for her
weekly residency at The Drink in Vancouver with R3 and on her radio show
Life @ 140BPM on CJSF 90.1FM, Mirka has captured the attention of DJs and
fans alike dropping new tunes and hard beats wherever there is a pair of
decks.
Danny Taylor (Future Progression)
Born and raised in Vancouver, Danny has firmly set a reputation for his
foundation as the co-founder and main resident @ Vancouver's top trance
night, Ascension @ Club Viva. A DJ that can play at any time in the night, Danny's music style ranges from up beat progressive house, to deep and driving trance. He has headlined parties from Seattle to Quebec, as well as international cities such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guanzhou, and Seoul
(Korea). Having been recently signed with New York based DJ agency Future
Progression, Danny has just finished touring China, where he was a resident
at one of Shanghai's top night clubs, Guandii. Highlights over the past couple years have included playing along side world class DJ's such as
John'00'Fleming, Mauro Picotto, Marco Carola, Graham Gold, Above & Beyond,
Gareth Emery, and Victor Dinaire.
DJ Lidster (Needle/Juice)
Lidster has been a regular on the Vancouver club circuit for the past 11
years, cultivating his style from funky bassdriven house to smoother melodic trance. He has
played with Vancouver legends Groove robber, Scotty Oh as well as internationally acclaimed artists like Steve Lawler. Known for his leadership in front of and away from the turntables Lidster proves that longevity can be achieved in the electronic scene. His current inspiration has led him towards the groovy sounds of Tim Deluxe, Kid Creme, Junior Jack and cutting edge bootlegs. Feel the Lidster funk as soon as he steps up to the turntables.

It was my first time at the Drink in ages last week...
Really great place to chill, and the DJ booth is mint!
