Broken DJM-300

00soups00
not quite as serious as a chewed-thru-bitten Headphone cord, but highly frustrating none-the-less.

any advice for what can be done to fix this accident that occured last night :(

i dont think the channel fader volumes are replaceable, so any ideas as to how much im looking to fix it and other ideas.

thx

screwdriver + solder mate.

open it up and have a look, see if you can do it yourself, looks like u can....

other than that, put it at full volume, and mix with gain and crossfader from now on ;)

Yeah just open it up and fix it yourself :p

Depending on where it's broken, you might not even need to take the face plate off...

can't really tell from the photo if you snapped the slider or just pulled it out, but pio repairs that sort of thing all the time. The parts cost maybe $20-30, and it'll cost about an hour to have them open and replace it. How much the retailer charges you to do it tho??
If it's not broken, you could at least try opening the top and see if you can slot it back in

I'm pretty sure the faders are replaceble, should be the same as the 500 and 600. If so open up your mixer look before you order anything. Goto factory sound, say you wanna order some djm300 faders. The guy serving you will say yeah ok done, come back in two weeks. once faders are recieved, open up your mixers unscrew a couple of screws pull out ribbon cable of old fader, slap in the new fader. Screw up and your done. No soldering neccessary and it should cost about $10 (i think)

I got the silver edition of the DJM-300. Be gentle with it. Lightsounds do repairs, either than that give up DJing.
